Meet the team

TV contributor Paul Poteet started as a disc jockey in Huntington and Ft. Wayne Indiana in 1979 and was first on the air in Indy while a teenager on Q95 in 1982. He first did weather in on TV in 1986 for Channel 4 and most recently for WISH TV. He’s always done radio while doing television. Paul also began doing voiceovers and corporate narrations in the early 80s and still does them today for places like Family Leisure, Unique Home Solutions, and dozens of companies as varied as Scotty’s Brewhouse and Eli Lilly.

Co-created, produced and then hosted the award winning Across Indiana series on WFYI for 20 years. A career change over a decade ago found Mike with a new passion for Hospice and end of life care. Today, he’s back on the road for TV, exploring the places and passions of the Hoosier state. “From historic sites to distinctive architecture to diverse state parks, you don’t have to be a boomer to appreciate all our state offers, but it certainly doesn’t hurt.”

Jason Jolliff is a video / TV / film producer, cinematographer, and editor who has been creating professional content since 1997 but has had a passion for visual storytelling since early childhood. Jason created his first weekly TV program in 2008 called Nightlights which ran for nearly 5 years in Indiana. He then went on to manage production responsibilities for Real Scene TV, a bi-weekly program airing on WTHR in Indianapolis. His third TV show aired every week on Indy’s WISH TV-8. On April 28, 2016 Jason embarked on a 3,091 mile walk across America as executive producer on the “Route for the Brave” documentary. He’s been producing the Indy Visitors Channel since 2011.

Mel McMahon Stone is an entrepreneur, radio and television personality, and local business activist. She and her husband, Lance, are the co-founders of Indiana Originals, a membership organization simplifying the search for local, Indiana-based businesses. Mel is a board member of the Indiana Chapter of the TEARS Foundation and the Better Business Bureau of Central Indiana. She is currently heard on 93.1 WIBC, Country 97.1 HANK FM, and B105.7 and often seen on WISH-TV8’s Indy Style, BoomerTV, and Fox59’s Morning News. She also acts as a consultant to several nonprofits and local small businesses and is a proud member of the 2013 IBJ Forty under 40 class.
